Irresistible Italy

When I think of Italy, I can't help but think of the delicious food and delicacies that make up the culture of Italian cuisine. Italian cuisine dates back as far as 4th century B.C., taking influence from ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Jewish culture. In the minds of most, Italy is known for it's expertise in the areas of pizza and pasta. When taking a trip to Italy, these are just the start of the multitude of tasty dishes that the Italian culture has to offer.

The Colosseum today is used as a historical piece and is now considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world. If that wasn't enough for you, Italy is also home to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is famously known for its nearly four degree tilt, which is the result of an unstable foundation. The tower had started to lean during its construction in the twelfth century a continued to worsen throughout its construction. Today, the Leaning Tower of Pisa serves as a unique historical site for tourists to come and visit.
