An introduction to Innovative motors
Innovative Motors is a luxury car company that specializes in developing technologically advanced motor vehicles uniquely formulated to provide customers with the car of their dreams. Innovative Motors is dedicated to providing its customers with the perfect combination of safety and style to deliver the most ideal blend of engineering and design.
Overview of the color set
The Innovative Motors color set focuses on the use of bright colors that represents the company in a way that is vivid, eye-catching, and bold. The use of the color red is to represent the energetic and powerful nature of Innovative Motors, which correlates with the brands passion for performance and quality. The company's use of the color black is to represent the luxurious aspect behind the company, as this relates to the quality and design that goes into Innovative Motors vehicles. These two colors are joined with a light gray as well to add contrast between the brighter colors, as well as make for easier readability, resulting in reduced eye strain.
Overview of the Font Set
Innovative Motors is represented by Gill Sans and Arial Font. Gill Sans will be used for large heading text, including but not limited to titles, subheadings, and other texts that require easy readability. Arial will be used as an easily legible paragraph font that will make it easy for viewers and readers to decipher.
Overview of the logo design
The Innovative Motors logo features a car steering wheel, along with two tires with wheels which replace the letter "O" in the logo. Innovative Motors' mission to provide luxury, technologically advanced and safe vehicles all starts back with the fundamental steering wheel and tires, thus inspiring the use of these basic vehicle parts in the logo design.The Innovative Motors logo also features a number of triangles extending off of the word "motors" to give off the impression that the word motors is driving away or in motion. The use of drop shadows underneath the red and black lines on the logo are to add some depth and overall dimension to the logo.
Logo usage
The Innovative Motors logo should not be used in a way that contradicts or conflicts with company guidelines and practices. The logo should not be reshaped, distorted, or changed in any way to preserve the readability and design of the logo. The logo should not be presented with any other colors than that of the original logo design, to ensure a consistent image is being used to represent the company. The following is an example that represents the misuse and alteration of the Innovative Motors logo, thus violating company guidelines.
Overview of the Homepage design
The Innovative Motors Homepage is designed to be eye-catching, yet easily navigable. The design is representative of a roadway, consisting of two yellow lines, as well as a navigation bar that resembles the white line at the edge of the road. The navigation bar features an array of organized tabs labeled vehicles, shopping tools, ownership, about us, and contact, which make it easier for individuals to find and access information. In the top right hand corner of the homepage, users have access to a search bar tool that can look up key words to make it easier for consumers to navigate through. Next to the search bar is a location icon, which gives users the option to locate a local dealership near them. Lastly, the homepage features a number of clickable icons and photos that allow for consumers to easily view pictures, videos and access information regarding Innovative Motors.

Sources of Inspiration
One of the most crucial parts of a basic motor vehicle is the steering wheel, which served as a primary source of inspiration for my logo design. With the name of my company being Innovative Motors, the round shape of the steering wheel served as a great substitute for the letter "O" in Innovative.
My second source of inspiration for the Innovative Motors logo came from the Hot Wheels Logo. The Hot Wheels logo is recognized by many, and the use of the flames gives the logo mobility and allows for the readers eyes to easily gaze from left to right. This inspired me to use a similar tactic within my own logo design, adding "racing stripes" to the left of the word motors.
Another source of inspiration for the Innovative Motors Logo was a tire and wheel. Tires and wheels are a fundamental part of a motor vehicle and I was able to incorporate them in the company logo to make it look as if the word "motors" was a vehicle itself with two tires.
In terms of my homepage design, a classic roadway served as the main inspiration for the entirety of the webpage. I was able to use the white guidelines at the edge of the road to serve as a navigation bar, while also using two yellow lines at the bottom of my homepage to give off the illusion of an actual roadway.
The Pixar Animation Studios logo served as a primary source of inspiration for the Innovative Motors logo. In the Pixar logo, a small lamp is used to resemble the "I" in Pixar. In the creation of the Innovative Motors logo, a steering wheel and set of tires were used used to replace all of the letter O's in the word Innovative Motors.
My last source of inspiration for the overall development of my website was the Nascar logo, as well as the epitome of Nascar as a whole. The lines that come before the word Nascar inspired the use of red and black lines to underline the word Innovative and add some separation within the logo. However, the general theme behind Nascar also served as a source of inspiration in creating my website homepage to resemble a roadway or racetrack.
