Taking a trip to United Kingdom offers an abundance of must see attractions that are sure to take you back in time. London is not only the capital of the United Kingdom, but also the largest city. London is home to many well-known attractions and has plenty of options for tourists to see pieces of history throughout the city.


To start with, London is home to the infamous Big Ben. Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the striking clock at the Palace of Westminster. Big Ben is a world renowned clock tower and was once the largest and most accurate striking and chiming clock in the world. Seeing this world famous clock is definitely a activity to be checked off your bucket list.


Another world famous attraction located in the capital of the United Kingdom is the London Eye. The London Eye is a great opportunity for tourists to see a breathtaking view of the city of London as it overlooks the South Bank of the River Thames. This is one of the most popular attractions in the United Kingdom, accumulating over 3 million visitors each year. It even once stood as the tallest Ferris wheel in the world in the year 2000. The London Eye is a beautiful way to see the fabulous landscape and is overall a must on places to visit in London.


Last, but certainly not least, on the itinerary for the United Kingdom would have to be Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is home to the monarch of the United Kingdom, which is currently Queen Elizabeth II. The United Kingdom takes great pride in its royal family, which makes it the perfect place to immerse yourself in British culture and take in the beautiful architecture that went into the structure.
